As part of sustained efforts to ensure smoother commuting for residents, the Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba has commenced the grading of major roads across the council.
The intervention, aimed at rehabilitating the local road network, began on Saturday, December 20, 2025.
The exercise kicked off with the Igbe Ogunro–Igbe Oloja Road in Ward C, alongside several other strategic internal roads within the community.
During an inspection of the project, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Femi Kabir, described the initiative as a proactive move that will have a direct and positive impact on the daily lives of residents.
The Council Management Engineer also noted that the grading exercise would eliminate bumps and potholes, significantly enhancing safety for all road users.
